Can you please introduce yourself, your name and your role at PDAX.

Hi, my name is Fred. I am the VP head of HR here in PDAX.

Could you describe PDAX and what you guys do?

So PDAX is essentially a financial technology company where we provide access to wealth to all Filipinos through various innovations in crypto, Web3, Bonds, etc.

Could you describe your company culture?

I would describe [the culture in PDAX] as being very collaborative, dynamic, also very high-performing. I think we're in an industry that's very rapidly growing, fast-paced, and has a lot of new things happening almost on a daily, monthly basis. So we really need a team that's able to respond and able to adapt quickly to those types of changes. So that's the team we've built. It's really very youthful. It's a good mix of youth and a few nice oldies.

So of course here in PDAX, we really value our employees. Our employees are really the heart and soul of the company. So providing them proper healthcare access, making sure that they are healthy is equivalent to making sure they are productive. From that perspective, being able to give them hassle-free healthcare access is very, very important for our mission.

What challenges did you encounter when looking for an HMO that would fit the needs of PDAX?

Obviously, cost was a big factor for us. And also the ease of coordinating things. Access to information was also very important for us. What we encountered with our previous suppliers is that we were heavily dependent on a point person. We didn't have access to all the information that we needed in one place, so we'd have to always rely on one person to respond to us. That's really one of the main pain points we experienced/

How has Hive Health simplified those challenges or those processes for you?

It's the ease of information, the access to that. It's all in one portal. It's much easier for employees from an HR management perspective, I think the dashboard has been very helpful in terms of us managing, activating the employees or deactivating employees who've already left or resigned. It's also been easy for us to manage billings because it's easy to access those invoices from the, from the dashboard. Also checking up on usage has also been very, very helpful for us as well.

We tackled the HR side of your experience. How has Hive Health improved the access to services for your employees?

The one thing that most employees appreciate the most is the ease of accessing teleconsults. I think that's been a big game changer for them. Before, they'd have to really line up for long lines in the clinics. Now they're able to do it in the comfort of their homes. It's easy for them to get prescriptions or medical certificates, things like that.

Can I ask you what's your favorite benefit or feature of Hive Health, personally?

Personally, I think it's really been the entire partnership for us. Getting a whole bunch of services that are not just related to actual healthcare, but the incidental stuff like the partnerships, the wellness discounts here and there, the ability to manage our own clinic here. For me personally, that's been the best thing I've had.

From a user standpoint, the coverage has also been very, very helpful, especially for those in more remote locations. The ability to get reimbursements done very quickly has also been a big factor for a lot of our employees.

I also appreciate progressive approach that Hive has towards how we handle relationship statuses of people and all that. The broad coverage has been very widely accepted as well.

How has Hive Health optimized your healthcare budget now while still providing comprehensive coverage?

In terms of the budget, I think Hive Health has been very cost efficient for us. The main consideration for us moving to Hive was being able to manage the costs for healthcare.

I would recommend Hive. I think the partnership again has been very helpful for us. It's provided a lot of solutions for the HR needs, especially for a young company that's kind of in a startup mode, but also kind of trying to break into that small-medium enterprise range. I think that's a perfect partnership to have.
