Staying Protected from the COVID-19 Surge

With the steady rise of COVID cases in Metro Manila, averaging 255 new cases a day, Hive Health would like to remind you to:

  • Always wear a mask especially in public places
  • Wash and clean your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds
  • Keep a safe distance of at least 1 meter from other people 
  • Maintain cough etiquette
  • Get a vaccine and booster whenever available
  • Choose open and well-ventilated spaces over closed areas

Know when to QUARANTINE and ISOLATE

Quarantine - for people who were exposed to COVID patients
  • Fully vaccinated asymptomatic close contacts of individuals with symptoms, suspect, probable, or confirmed cases shall quarantine for at least 5 days from the date of the last exposure. Quarantine can be discontinued if they remain asymptomatic
  • Partially vaccinated or unvaccinated asymptomatic close contact shall quarantine for at least 14 days from the date of the last exposure.  Quarantine can be discontinued if they remain asymptomatic
Isolation - for people who tested positive with COVID
  • All asymptomatic and fully vaccinated confirmed cases, shall isolate for at least 7 days from sample collection date. Isolation can be discontinued without the need for repeat testing, provided they have remained asymptomatic during the whole recommended isolation period. If symptoms develop within or after the prescribed period, the individual shall complete the required days of isolation depending on the severity of symptoms.
  • All asymptomatic and partially vaccinated or unvaccinated confirmed cases, shail isolate for at least 10 days from sample collection date. Isolation can be discontinued without the need for repeat testing, provided they have remained asymptomatic during the whole recommended isolation period. If symptoms develop within or after the prescribed period, the individual shall complete the required days of isolation depending on the severity of symptoms
